I am off to the army next week. Army basic training at Ft. Leonard wood.! March 18 is the day I report to MEPS. and get further orders.

Well its been awhile... So hopefully soon I can be off to the army. My sighning up got delayed when they had to get more medical paper work. I saw my DR. for my shoulder several years ago after I had wrecked skiing. And I forgot to tell my recruiter about that cause it doesnt affect me.
So I am waiting on paper work and then I am off to the ARMY.

In the Army I had been looking at being an MP. But I am thinking that I will go in as a heavy equipment operator.
I can be just about anything I want in the army. exept special forces because I am not 21 yet.

Wahoo My daddy got a new computer. and a 22 inch moniter. and it is so much faster than before!!! it is a p4. ok I know that the p4 is already way obsolete. but it is so much better than the other even way more obsolete compuer we were using. this computer even has xp, instead of windows 98. any ways this computer is way faster thab the other one that we sorta surrvived on. and I am going back to camp wood worth for the weekend family camp.

I should be going to Alert this september. { http://www.alertacademy.com/ } the basic training.
Then probably into the army, then maybe law enforcement. who knows
I should be going to africa this january, then again maybe no.? who knows. Maybe when the day comes I will Know....

My choir sang the national anthem before the blazer game. That was the third time my choir has done that. It was awesome. and they gave us all tickets to the game. so 50 tickets at 49$ apiece. cool but we were only filling empty seats. but it was still fun to go to the game with alot of my friends. I also was at court yesterday, but not for me, for my neice. my sis and bro get her 3days a week and the other party gets her the rest of the time.

Snow Is fun. Exept when you need to get somewhere, and cant get out of your own driveway! Well I have had snow for more than a week now. My doc said take it easy and no skiing snowboarding. So I went sledding and had snowball fights with my siblings among other things. I havent made and shot a snowman yet, guess I'm getting lazy.
Pulling cars up the driveway with our little Subaru has been fun. The subaru has fourwheel low range and chains. So it does a pretty good job of pulling vehicles up the driveway.
My neice was over tuesday, she is so cute. My Brother inlaw has a nice bick chevy that gets around well. 4x4, diesel, good all around work truck, uses it to tow his trailer.

Well I get my pins out on monday, then I have some therapy to go to. Haha me on therapy, thats just what I need. I asked them what we would do the first time I went in and they said mostly work on scar massage.

I get my pins out on the 22nd!! yeah. Then I get a temporary brace and have 1-3 months of therapy till I am supposed to be normal.
Some of my friends want me to video the doc taking my pins out. I think that I'll do my best to get that. I dont have a server to put a video on so pics will have to do the trick for my blogger readers.

I got my arm loosened yesterday! And I got a date for when it all should come out! The doctor said that when he takes it out that he ussually has the patient take some pain pills about a half hour before and then he screws everything out of my arm! Just like that. That will be an interesting event.

Here you can see how the broken piece is slanted off by almost 30 degrees. It should be straite across.

If I hadn't had the surgery I would have lost some of the range of motion in my wrist and would have arthritis in ten years.

Five to seven weeks!!!!!!!! Till I get my arm back!!!!

It will be nice to be back to normal. So Thursday I'm thinking that I can have pics of my arm and of the ex-rays! and you can see what is happening to me right then.

My choir sang again today, it went well and the people we sang for enjoyed it. We sang for the senior saints at Glennwood community Church.

So my week went ok. How is yours?

Well I had surgury today, spent twelve hours at the hospital. So now I have a buch of external hardware to lookout for. I have yet to unrap every thing and count the number of pins, but I think that it is about 5 or six. It is kindav a nasty thought that I have pins sticking out of my skin. So when I get a picture of it I will post it. So please keep praying for me.

I got another bottle of pain meds........it is a narcotic and the warning said "extended use could be habit forming"..............hhmmmm

Well see what I get for a broken wrist !!!! Kinda ridiculous. But I can't go skiing for three months, So maybe the end of the ski season. Also no skateboarding, no swimming, no skiing on slides and be nice to my wrist so that I don't need surgery! So Im kinda on the DL list, a big bummer. I should get a new airsoft gun that I can play one handed with! Then I could still do some things with my friends!

An update On My Arm!

Well I am going in to get a CT scan of my wrist and then go and get a cast if I need one.

Well I finally did it! I broke a bone doing something notsmart, well I haven't broken a bone doing something smart either. But anyways I broke my wrist/forearm while sliding down a slide when it was raining,and I broke it on the little slide! Not the big slide!
So what exactly was I doing? Well a friend of mine said that she went down the slide standing up! Wow that sounds fun IM wet and dirty already whats to lose? So I try it but the shoes I was wearing were smooth on the bottom of the lug tread, so they really went fast down the slide! And I landed with all my weight on my right wrist.
Thankfully I haven't had to have any surgery to put me together. Right now I have a splint and am going in next Tuesday to get a cast! So any and all prayers to the real God are appreciated

Well I went to a friends birthday party last night. He turned 17!!! GO Josh.
I also got to ride his cousins motor cycle 150cc Honda. That was fun then we played video game till it was time to go home. Now the ride home was fun to with my brother driving, fast, then while dropping off a friend I jumped over a fence just fine. But on the way back over I caught my shin in the top of the fence, and that was fun to. Tomorrow Thursday I am going to sing with my church choir during a banquet
for G.V. Mathai. It is a fund raiser and a time to tell people the progress that his ministry has done.Mr. Mathai is from India, and in India it is illigal for a foreigner to teach christianity. So Mr. Mathai's ministry teach native indians to go and preach the word of God to the people of India.

I had a friend over Sunday and we went SHOOTING, yeehaw , I have three thirty round magazines for my ruger 10/22 carbine and we shot lotsa bullets. He had an auto loader with a 17 tube magazine. So we had fun shooting cans up. We shot about 500 rounds of ammo. We also shot my shotgun which is a Browning auto 5 semiautamatic shotgun with a five round tube magazine. It has a nice feeling of power. Then My friend was throwing some of those little bottles of bottled water and I shot them down and they exploded nicely. That was how my day went sunday, how was yours?

I went white water rafting Saturday and had a blast. 27 people total from my church and other people went. we rafted 12 miles of the deschutes river and it took about six plus hours. There were mostly class 1 and 2 rapids some class3 rapids and one class 4 rapid. we pulled the boats up the river bank and went over that one twice :-)
went swimming in the elevators and in the white river where it joins the deschutes river. had lots of water fights and steeling the buckets from one boat to the others. all in all it was an awesome day with friends and family. and I am hoping to go again this saturday

I was checking out at the local Wal-Mart with just a few items and the lady behind me put her things on the belt close to mine. I picked up one of those "dividers" that they keep by the cash register and placed it between our things so they wouldn't get mixed. After the girl had scanned all of my items, she picked up the "divider", looking it all over for the bar code so she could scan it. Not finding the bar code she said to me, "Do you know how much this is?" I said to her "I've changed my mind, I don't think I'll buy that today." She said "OK," and I paid her for the things and left. She had no clue to what had just happened.

THREE
A lady at work was seen putting a credit card into her floppy drive and pulling it out very quickly. When I inquired as to what she was doing, she said she was shopping on the Internet and they kept asking for a credit card number, so she was using the ATM "thingy."

FOUR
I recently saw a distraught young lady weeping beside her car. "Do you need some help?" I asked. She replied, "I knew I should have replaced the battery to this remote door unlocker. Now I can't get into my car. Do you think they (pointing to a distant convenience store) would have a battery to fit this?" "Hmmm, I dunno. Do you have an alarm, too?" I asked. "No, just this remote thingy," she answered, handing it and the car keys to me. As I took the key and manually unlocked the door, I replied, "Why don't you drive over there and check about the batteries. It's a long walk."

Several years ago, we had an Intern who was none too swift. One day she was typing and turned to a secretary and said, "I'm almost out of typing paper. What do I do?" "Just use copier machine paper," the secretary told her. With that, the intern took her last remaining blank piece of paper, put it on the photocopier and proceeded to make five "blank" copies.

A mother calls 911 very worried asking the dispatcher if she needs to take her kid to the emergency room, the kid was eating ants. The dispatcher tells her to give the kid some Benadryl and should be fine, the mother says, I just gave him some ant killer..... Dispatcher: Rush him in to emergency!

IDIOTS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD:I live in a semi-rural area. We recently had a new neighbor call the local township administrative office to request the removal of the Deer Crossing sign on our road. IDIOT SIGHTING:The stoplight on the corner buzzes when it's safe to cross the street. I was crossing with an intellectually challenged coworker of mine when she asked if I knew what the buzzer was for. I explained that it signals blind people when the light is red. Appalled, she responded, "What on earth are blind people doing driving?!" She was a probation officer in Wichita, KSIDIOT SIGHTING:At a good-bye luncheon for an old and dear coworker who was leaving the company due to "downsizing," our manager commented cheerfully,"this is fun. We should do this more often." Not a word was spoken. We all just looked at each other with that deer-in-the-headlights stare. This was a bunch at Texas Instruments.

IDIOT SIGHTING:I work with an individual who plugged her power strip back into itself and for the life of her couldn't understand why her system would not turn on. (A deputy with the Dallas County Sheriff's office no less.)

IDIOT SIGHTING:When my husband and I arrived at an automobile dealership to pick up our car, we were told the keys had been locked in it. We went to the service department and found a mechanic working feverishly to unlock the driver's side door. As I watched from the passenger side, I instinctively tried the door handle and discovered that it wasunlocked. "Hey! ," I announced to the technician, "it's open!" To which he replied, "I know - I already got that side." This was at the Ford dealership in Canton, Mississippi!

we currantly have some kids who are a big pain , I'll leave it at that. But the councilors are unduring the trial.

One of the trouble campers was just taken off of riddlen and I can clearly see how a little correction can help, this camper was also bribed by his parents, he got an Xbox 360 and he gets some toys when he gets home.

We have several campers that are not saved and I ask that you would pray for them that they come to know God.

There is a religious precedent for not wrapping Christmas gifts....

A Letter Home From Scout Camp

Dear Mom,Our scout master told us all write to our parents in case you saw theflood on TV and worried. We are OK. Only 1 of our tents and 2 sleepingbags got washed away. Luckily, none of us got drowned because we were allup on the mountain looking for Chad when it happened. Oh yes, please callChad's mother and tell her he is OK. He can't write because of the cast.

I got to ride in one of the search & rescue jeeps. It was neat. We neverwould have found him in the dark if it hadn't been for the lightning.Scoutmaster Webb got mad at Chad for going on a hike alone withouttelling anyone. Chad said he did tell him, but itwas during the fire so he probably didn't hear him. Did you know that ifyou put gas on a fire, the gas can will blow up? The wet wood stilldidn't burn, but one of our tents did. Also some ofour clothes. John is going to look weird until his hair grows back.

We will be home on Saturday if Scoutmaster Webb gets the car fixed. Itwasn't his fault about the wreck. The brakes worked OK when we left.Scoutmaster Webb said that a car that old you have to expect something tobreak down; that's probably why he can't get insurance on it. We thinkit's a neat car. He doesn't care if we get it dirty, and if it's hot,sometimes he lets us ride on the tailgate. It gets pretty hot with 10people in a car. He let us take turns riding in the trailer until thehighway patrolman stopped and talked to us.

Scoutmaster Webb is a neat guy. Don't worry, he is a good driver. Infact, he is teaching Terry how to drive. But he only lets him drive onthe mountain roads where there isn't any traffic. All we ever see upthere are logging trucks.

This morning all of the guys were diving off the rocks and swimming outin the lake Scoutmaster Webb wouldn't let me because I can't swim andChad was afraid he would sink because of his cast, so he let us take thecanoe across the lake. It was great. You can still see some of the treesunder the water from the flood.

Scoutmaster Webb isn't crabby like some scoutmasters. He didn't even getmad about the life jackets. He has to spend a lot of time working on thecar so we are trying not to cause him any trouble.

Guess what? We've all passed our first aid merit badges. When Dave dovein the lake and cut his arm, we got to see how a tourniquet works. AlsoWade and I threw up. Scoutmaster Webb said it probably was just foodpoisoning from the leftover chicken. He said they got sick that way withthe food they ate in prison. I'm so glad he got out and became ourscoutmaster. He said he sure figured out how to get things done betterwhile he was doing his time.

Have to go now, we are going into town to mail our letters and buy bullets.
Don't worry about anything.

Well I Just had a great time with some friends that I have not seen in about 5-6 years. It is really neat to see people grow up [ya even when they'er older than you ] It was a really great day with old friends.
The reason that they had to move was they'er Dads job was transfered to China, so they moved to China. Kenny is going to school in in the states now and his sister will probably join him .

Just some food for thought. I thought that I would tell you about about a startling contrast to what is commonly accepted is the circle of science, that hot air rises. I will prove that cold air rises. When you go to the mountains do you get your swimming suit? or do you bundle up?? Well you bundle up!! of course its cold.
