Well I finally did it! I broke a bone doing something notsmart, well I haven't broken a bone doing something smart either. But anyways I broke my wrist/forearm while sliding down a slide when it was raining, and I broke it on the little slide! Not the big slide!
So what exactly was I doing? Well a friend of mine said that she went down the slide standing up! Wow that sounds fun IM wet and dirty already whats to lose? So I try it but the shoes I was wearing were smooth on the bottom of the lug tread, so they really went fast down the slide! And I landed with all my weight on my right wrist.
Thankfully I haven't had to have any surgery to put me together. Right now I have a splint and am going in next Tuesday to get a cast! So any and all prayers to the real God are appreciated

That wrist is probably the most disturbing wrist that I have ever seen. EV-AR. When I broke my wrist it didn't look nearly as bad as yours does.

Did you mean you know you won't have to have surgery? I broke my ankle in May (I broke my wrist when I was 9), I had surgery on it and now I have 10 screws and a plate. I hope you won't have to go through surgery.

My ankle break took skill, no really. I ended up falling 4 feet and landing all my weight on my right ankle. Wooo for me. *eye roll*

I'll be praying for you!

BTW do you know the Curry's? I know them from Awana.

Well, Keith comments on my blog and Keith is Chris' brother. AND also through the Manly blog.

I've never been to Woodworth. I just know them through being a leader at Awana. But it seems like EVERYONE at my church has either gone to that camp or is leading that camp. Mr Curry (when he talks to the leaders) sometimes he says, "Campers" instead of "clubbers". Haha.... It's pretty funny.

Ooooh yeah. It was quite amazing. http://relysethethunder.blogspot.com/2006/05/my-ankle.html

There is an x-ray of my ankle.

Question: How is it typing with one hand? And are you on any pain killers? Your break looks really bad.

Wow id have to agree with father cory cool!
Typing with one hand is kinda slow but I can still communicate, you should try it!
and pain killers. Well I used half of a vicodin last night other wise I have been off of pain killers other than when it happened.

I only broke one of the bones in my wrist thankfully.

one of the funny thing at the hospital was showing the nurses my wrist before they pushed and pulled it into position and splinted it. It was funny watching their reaction!!

Dude! That's gross!!!! And I've broken bones before! Both bones in my lower leg, so it bent forward half way between my ankle and knee. *nasty* and then my nose.
