OK Here are the pictures of my xrays!!
Here you can see how the broken piece is slanted off by almost 30 degrees. It should be straite across.
If I hadn't had the surgery I would have lost some of the range of motion in my wrist and would have arthritis in ten years.
My arm for comparison
Here you can see how all the pins stick in me.
Pretty neat what you can get done these days. It only costed the insurance Co. only $17068.85
Here you can see that I am literally nailed together were I broke it!

Amazing!

One time in the cast room I saw a lady getting a check up with Dr Bacon (my surgeon and apparently hers as well), her toes were bleeding everywhere and she had pins sticking out with yellow heads. I almost fainted and I want to be a nurse practioner! I had better get over that.

Ewww... Man. Did you feel queezy? UUUUUUUGHGHHG>.. I think I would have died.

How are you holding up?

Did you lose power? We were out since Thursday....

Wow...what...vivid pictures! Neat to see what they did, though, and how they fix your body parts!

Nice to meet you (if you want to call it that)...

Ouch!! That just looks scary with those pins sticking in you all over the place. Did they decided they needed to do this because the cast didn't work or something? Will they take all the hardware out once it has healed? My dad has some screws and stuff permanently in one of his fingers that was caught up in a table saw.

Hope you heal up quick. Merry Christmas!

Ouuuuuuuuch! I've survived two broken bones(fractured rather)so far in my life. Thankfully I've never had to go through anything like the looks of this though!

Merry Christmas!

NO my mom would never allow it. However when my mom was in town I got on my brothers old snow board.
He took the bindings off of his old board and sold them so I stood on the spikes next to were the bindings go.

the doctors really didnt like me doing that.

Merry Christmas.

Hmm, guess I heard wrong then. Amazing how stories change or get missinterpreted as they go from one person to the next. Kind of like that telephone game. :-)

Take good care of that arm.
